I have always been fascinated by the intricacies of human behavior, language, and society. This fascination drove me to successfully complete a Masters in Sociology and a Masters in Linguistics from the University of Mumbai before eventually pursuing my Masters in Clinical Psychology. Additionally, I have earned a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work and a Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Cognizavest, the official learning partner of the Counselling Council of India (CCI). I am also certified in Solution Focused Based Therapy, Family Therapy and hold a Diploma in Human Rights from the University of Mumbai. My extensive educational background has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of human behaviour, human language, and the human mind. As a Psychotherapist, I am committed to staying updated with the latest research and evidence-based practices in the field. I draw upon a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. By integrating these approaches, I aim to provide the most effective and tailored interventions for my clients. I prioritize utilizing scientifically proven techniques while also considering individual preferences and therapeutic goals. I view therapy as a collaborative partnership between the client and myself. I believe in fostering a supportive and empowering relationship, where clients are actively involved in their therapeutic journey. Together, we work towards identifying goals, developing practical strategies, and navigating obstacles.
